The shareholders of the company are graduates of the Veterinary School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. They have been trained in Husbandry, Internal Medicine and Welfare of Small Ruminants (MSc) and are PhDs of the Laboratory of Animal Husbandry, Department of Veterinary Medicine, School of Health Sciences. Additionally, they were trained in the technique of laparoscopic artificial insemination and embryo transfer in small ruminants at a breeding centre in Australia.

HELIADES provides consultancy services for businesses and cooperatives in the primary sector, with the aim of supporting and training the partners, searching for new products and planning future business plans. At the same time, it cooperates with a wide and continuously growing network of farmers in Greece and Cyprus. It also organises training seminars for veterinarians, animal scientists and farmers.

Moreover, they actively participate in European Research projects, aimed at enhancing sustainability and implementing innovative technologies in small ruminant farms. Our team has presented the results of their research activity in Greek and international conferences.
